How Paradox Interactive Promoted Age of Wonders: Planetfall on YouTube

Working previously with Paradox Interactive on other titles such as Stellaris made it very exciting to develop a new creative influencer marketing campaign for Age of Wonders: Planetfall. Paradox decided again to collaborate with GameInfluencer on a YouTube full feature and integration campaign.

7 micro and macro influencers were chosen and collaborated with to generate 7 long-term content pieces for Paradox Interactive. Solo or together with friends, gaming influencers gave Age of Wonders the spotlight on their YouTube Channel, creating a unique full feature content piece.


Campaign Goal

The campaign strategy for Age of Wonders: Planetfall with Paradox Interactive was to look for very close fitting gaming influencers that enjoy turn-based strategy games. Interesting markets for this campaign were the US, UK and Germany. The goal of the campaign was to capture audience’s interest for Age of Wonders: Planetfall and ultimately generate an uplift for purchases.

Engagements on all 7 content pieces were relavitely well with an average of 4.51% for each influencer. Audiences were excited to see a second episode of Age of Wonders: Planetfall, while others were convinced to buy it straight away. We are sure Paradox Interactive also expierenced an organic uplift for this game.
