How Nvidia successfully introduced Minecraft with RTX
Having worked with Nvidia on multiple other campaigns, it was time to step up the game and create an offline Nvidia Event with 9 influencers for Minecraft RTX. The new premium campaign revolved around creating dedicated YouTube videos with Minecraft RTX reviews.
To experience Minecraft with RTX, 9 influencers were invited to the Nvidia Office to test out its new updated look . Minecraft with RTX brings fully path-traced rendering, physically-based materials, and NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 to Minecraft, delivering bleeding-edge visual fidelity and realism that can be experienced on all GeForce RTX GPUs.
The campaign strategy for Nvidia was to create an authentic offline event with Minecraft experts who would appreciate the visual RTX update to their favorite game. We decided to work with influencers who were interested in creating fully dedicated videos about the RTX updates.
For this campaign, we focused on the German market with highly relevant Minecraft channels. The goal of the campaign was to target key Minecraft audiences and drastically increase uplift for Nvidia Geforce RTX GPUs.
Meet the Influencers
Minecraft enthusiasts enjoyed seeing the Minecraft RTX review from their favorite influencers. The highest engagement rates for 2 of the influencers were between 15-17%. Overall the updated visuals were well received within the german minecraft community with many interested in new Nvidia GPUs.
