New year – new game releases! 2023 will be a huge year for RPG lovers with major titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Final Fantasy XVI, and Diablo 4 anticipated to be released in the summer. In addition, we are looking forward to remakes of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 while also getting excited about new titles like Atomic Heart and Hogwarts Legacy. You will play Major Nechaev, a KGB special agent whose first task is investigating the facilities and eliminating the rebelling machines.
The fans of the Metro and Bioshock series will definitely appreciate the game’s art and gameplay. The combat system promises fierce fighting with exciting mechanics and challenging enemies.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to one of Nintendo’s most beloved games, is coming this May. While Nintendo still has not revealed much about its upcoming project, we could get some insight from the released trailers.
The players will now be able to soar between the floating islands above Hyrule, expanding the playable space and exploring new locations. In addition, Link will gain a suite of new powers thanks to his new magical arm, and the variety of weapons will increase, offering a wooden axe, multiple swords, different shields, bows, and arrows.
Diablo IV

Final Fantasy XVI

Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a resurrection of the classic party-based RPG series set in the Forgotten Realms. It’s being modernized by Larian Studios, bringing it in line with the current edition of the Dungeons & Dragons rules. You can play in a single-player or with a team, and there are also options for good and evil playthroughs depending on how you negotiate, deal with enemies and defuse conflicts.
The game has also been in early access since 2020 and became the best-selling game on Steam and GOG.com.
Spider-Man 2
Release date: Fall 2023

Spider-Man 2 has been developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and PlayStation for the PS5 console. Though fans currently know very little about the highly anticipated title, there’s speculation that Spider-Man 2 could involve some level of cooperative play, with Miles and Peter Parker both having a part to play in the game’s story. Additionally, with two Spider-Men featured in the game, fans might expect numerous alternate costumes to be featured within Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
With that being said, it is going to be an exciting year for the gaming industry. Let’s hope there are no delays and everyone can enjoy the new titles. Being a huge fan of Final Fantasy XV and the Metro series, I am really hyped about the releases of Atomic Heart with its dystopian sci-fi atmosphere and Final Fantasy XVI because what can be better than riding a Chocobo after a long exhausting fight?
