How Facebook onboarded over 120 influencers in the Eastern European Market
Facebook introduced their gaming streaming platform Facebook Gaming back in 2018 with promising features to attract new and upcoming influencers to their service. One year later, the tech titan reached out to strengthen their streaming efforts with our influencer marketing expertise.
The goal of this long-term partnership is to increase the platform sustainability and help grow the Facebook gaming community. This case study elaborates on how we successfully manage and on-boarded over 120 influencers in the Eastern European market for Facebook.
Project Scope
We kicked off the project by searching and scouting the Eastern European market for fitting influencers. For influencers to fit to the Facebook streaming program, promising and stable growth rates would have to align with Facebook’s endeavors.
Our company goal was to make sure that we got the best Eastern European streamers who were eager to stream on fb.gg. With deep connections to local based managers, we helped create a large pool of potential influencers with all sorts of popular gaming content. GameInfluencer handled all scouting, communication, negotiation, and influencer management processes.
Finding the right gaming influencers was based on specific criteria that was aligned with Facebook. Important criteria such as community growth and community engagement were critical to picking the right streamers. Streamers who could easily adapt to the Facebook live streaming platform and perform well under their guidelines.
