We are excited to continue introducing our recent joiners and show more of “Behind the scenes” at GameInfluencer. Meet Emilie Vongmany, one of our campaign managers, who joined us in September and has already brought immense value with her unique skills and expertise.

Before joining GameInfluencer, Emilie had an exciting career path that gave her experience both in the creative and management fields. She earned her Master’s degree in Management and International Business in France. Being passionate about graphic design, esports, and video games, Emilie also joined a 1,5-year apprenticeship as an Art Director at a gaming and esports-focused advertising agency called Hurrah. However, after realizing it was not the best fit, Emilie focused on marketing and joined Royal Canin as a Junior Brand Manager while still dreaming about the gaming industry.

An opportunity arose during the catch-up with Alexis Barray, a former colleague at Hurrah and a former Campaign Manager at GameInfluencer. Emilie was introduced to the GI team and, a month later, started as a new Campaign Manager.

“I’ve had a lifelong passion for the gaming industry, and “my dream” was to work in the field. The cherry on top was hearing my friend Alexis praising the company I now work for. I couldn’t be happier with my job and the nicest team I get to work with every day,” – Emilie says.

As a Campaign Manager at GameInfluencer, Emilie is responsible for various tasks like identifying and selecting the right influencers, setting up contracts and agreements, executing campaigns, and building strong relationships with brands.

We had an exciting discussion about what she likes most about working at GameInfluencer, and her professional plans and motivation. Emilie also shared a few great recommendations for those who would like to dive more into the gaming industry.

What are you most excited about as a new employee?

I was excited to discover the field of Influencer Marketing: the clients and projects are really cool. Also, I have the chance to be a part of a creative and dynamic team and learn from them.

What are some of your favorite things about working in the gaming industry?

Besides the fact that it’s one of my passions, I love that every campaign is different based on the client, game, and selected influencers. Moreover, the industry is constantly evolving and changing – it keeps things fresh and exciting, so you can never be bored!

Also, it gives me an opportunity to collaborate with highly talented and passionate people who love what they do.

What do you hope to learn or gain from working as a Campaign Manager at GameInfluencer and/or in the gaming industry?

Beforehand, I had no experience in Influencer Marketing, so I am focused on enhancing my Campaign Management skills and my knowledge of the Influencer Marketing industry and developing a deeper understanding of the industry trends.

Additionally, I want to be part of shaping the future of the gaming industry. I have been inspired by the evolution of esports from LAN parties to filled stadiums, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. I am driven to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth and success of the industry.

Top 3 your most favorite video games.

1. Path Of Exile, I love games where you have to grind a lot. I also played a lot of Diablo III.

2. League Of Legends/Teamfight Tactics, I spent hours on those games.

3. The Sims, one of the very first games I played.

Bonus: Candy Crush, actually level 2931. 😉 It’s really addictive.

Top 3 gaming influencers you follow yourself.

There is no particular order, but I like to watch:

1. MahdiBa, a really funny creator from Québec. I love his “react” videos.

2. Kameto, to me it’s one of the best in France, consistently making meaningful contributions to the industry.

3. MrBeast, always spectacular and very entertaining.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to go to the gym before work. Weightlifting has been one of my passions for just over a year now. Working out is a non-negotiable part of my routine, and I hate to miss a session. I also spend a lot of time on Tiktok, but obviously, it’s only for working purposes…

We are happy to have Emilie in our team and looking forward to executing amazing campaigns with her great support!
